The Affiliated Sante Group
Affiliated Santé Group is now a Maryland State
Licensed Substance Abuse Provider!
Substance abuse treatment and counseling services are now available at our Prince Georges County center.
According to the Journal of the American Medical Association, approximately 50 percent of individuals diagnosed with severe mental illness are affected by substance abuse. About 37 percent of individuals with alcoholism and 53 percent of individuals with drug addictions have at least one serious mental illness.
Historically, the substance abuse treatment and the behavioral health care systems have had difficulty helping people manage both illnesses at the same time. Our new capacity will contribute to our ability to provide high quality integrated care.
