PSYCHIATRIC REHABILITATION PROGRAM (PRP)
Purpose:
To assist adults in reestablishing or developing essential daily living skills in order to live independent and self-sufficient lives.
Individuals Served:
- Adults with severe and persistent mental illness
- Adults with developmental disabilities and emotional or behavioral challenges
- Adults with both disorders
Program:
Provides behavioral, social, and recreational support in group settings. Practical life skills are offered in real life community settings. Opportunities are provided to learn independent living skills, interpersonal and social skills, behavioral self-management, and community adaptation. Clients may attend on a part-time or full-time basis, depending on clinical needs.

Staffing:
Master’s and bachelor’s level rehabilitation specialists augmented by a multi-disciplinary clinical team
Hours of Operation:
Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM

- Montgomery County- Silver Spring, Wheaton
- Prince George's County- Lanham
- St. Mary's County- Lexington Park
Fees:
Services must be pre-authorized by Maryland Medical Assistance (Medicaid) for payment.
