CRISIS RESPONSE SYSTEM  (CRS)

Purpose: 

Provides a comprehensive set of on-site and off-site mental health crisis response services and resources in three counties.

Individuals Served: 

Children, adolescents, adults, and seniors who are experiencing a mental health crisis.

Services:

• Operations centers 24/7/365
• Hotlines and warmlines 
• Mobile crisis teams (police dispatched and/or accompanied)
• Urgent care clinical services
• In-home intervention teams (Anne Arundel and Baltimore counties) for 4-6 visits
• Homeless outreach (Anne Arundel County only)
• Care management
• Emergency shelter arrangements
• Emergency transportation arrangements
• Sexual Assault Crisis Center (Anne Arundel County only)
• Crisis Intervention Stress Management (CISM) 24/7/365
• Community and police education

Staffing: 

Appropriately licensed, credentialed, experienced, and privileged staff including board-certified psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, licensed social workers, professional counselors, and phone counselors, administrators, and volunteers

Hours of Operation: 

Services are available 24/7/365.
